Industrial and Consumer Goods

Industrial and consumer goods are often not only manufactured at one production site but depending
on needs in different countries and continents.

The problem is to ensure the same quality of the molded parts independent from the production location. This is not a simple task considering that global made mass products very rarely are manufactured on the same machines.
Finally the human factor must be excluded as possible source of error.

Typical examples for such global made mass products are pipe fittings, toys of any kind as well as
general housing parts, e.g. for binoculars.
The general solution for this problem is to standardize the part quality by automatically adapting the machine and hotrunner settings.
This way the same part quality can be ensured at different locations.

The basis for these controls are the parameters measured in the mold such as cavity pressure and cavity temperature.
