PRIAMUS SYSTEM TECHNOLOGIES

PRIAMUS SYSTEM TECHNOLOGIES, with its headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, offers intelligent process monitoring and closed-loop process control systems for industrial injection molding. The product range includes cavity pressure and cavity temperature sensors, digital amplifiers and interfaces as well as complete software systems for quality assurance in the injection molding process. PRIAMUS systems are designed to detect and remove rejects, to automatically optimize the process, and to maintain constant quality throughout production. This way, costs are significantly reduced and at the same time high process reliability is guaranteed.

PRIAMUS SYSTEM TECHNOLOGIES has been a member of the Barnes Group Inc. since 2015. Together with the partner companies of the Molding Solutions Group, PRIAMUS offers a wide range of products and services. These range from high-quality injection molds to hot runner systems and control units and intelligent closed-loop process control systems.

We are happy to advise you on the planning and implementation of your injection molding projects by offering sophisticated solutions from a single source.

  • PROCESS MONITORING

At PRIAMUS the monitoring of the industrial injection molding process is based on real process parameters which are obtained by cavity pressure and cavity temperature sensors. By combining these two sensor types, our systems are able to document and monitor in detail the flow characteristics of the material in the mold. Continue reading…

  • CLOSED-LOOP PROCESS CONTROL

Closed-loop process control comprises a closed control loop. Here, the control parameters are not processed in real time, but adaptively. This means that the parameters are not calculated until the end of the current cycle and are transferred to the machine control system via a host computer interface. This way, the new settings of the injection molding machine for the following cycle are communicated via a protocol. Continue reading…

  • SENSORS AND ELECTRONICS

The individual components of a measuring system are important building blocks that determine the performance and technical possibilities of the system. It is the small but subtle differences that greatly simplify the handling of a system and significantly increase its functionality. Especially in the digital age, automation is only conceivable if the sensors and the downstream electronics also have a certain amount of intelligence. Continue reading…
